Using out-of-network benefits

If your plan has out-of-network mental health coverage, I provide a monthly superbill you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Many clients recover 40–70% of session costs this way. You pay upfront and receive reimbursement directly from your insurer, typically within 4–6 weeks.

What's a superbill?

A superbill is an itemized receipt containing the diagnostic and billing codes your insurance needs to process an out-of-network claim; I handle generating it, you simply submit it.

Questions to ask your insurance before your first session:

- Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?

- What is my out-of-network deductible, and has it been met?

- What percentage do you reimburse for outpatient therapy after the deductible?

- Do I need prior authorization for out-of-network services?

- How do I submit a claim or superbill for reimbursement?

**Sliding Scale Available- I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for clients who need a reduced fee. If cost is a barrier, please don't hesitate to reach out.
